We’ve been quietly working on something very special...and it finally feels like the right time to reintroduce ourselves. 🤍

At Redding Publishing, our journey started with a simple goal: helping our children feel connected to the Punjabi language, Sikh faith, and Punjabi culture through books.

Since 2017, authors have trusted Redding Publishing to edit, publish and promote their books. We are always on the lookout for fresh and new talent and are firmly committed to all our authors.

Redding Publishing is a non profit project that focuses on spreading the Punjabi language amongst the U.S. We are a trusted distributor for institutions and work hard to provide the highest quality books to our customers. The curriculum in these books have been tested and enhanced with over 15 years of teaching experience by some of our contributors at the high school level. These books fulfill the foreign language requirement for the Punjabi as a foreign language curriculum taught in schools in the USA.

Our Story

Over the years, I collected Punjabi books from so many incredible authors and publishers to build a little Punjabi library for my sons — stories and resources that would inspire pride, identity, and connection from an early age.

At the same time, our mom — who has taught Punjabi for over 15 years — created Punjabi textbooks for middle and high school students. But one thing we kept hearing over and over was:

“We need more resources for younger children.”

That stayed with us.

So we got to work creating resources for ages 0–10 that families can actually enjoy together at home.

• Punjabi alphabet flashcards (ages 3+)
• Punjabi board books (ages 0+)

These were created especially for families raising children in primarily English-speaking homes — parents who know some Punjabi and want their children’s Punjabi learning to be just as strong, if not stronger, than their own.

To help bridge that gap, our resources include:
• English transliterations
• Pronunciation guides
• Simple, engaging learning for young children

This is only the beginning. We have poured so much love into this project, and we truly hope these resources can become part of your family’s journey too.
